An Amusing Episode in the Anthroplogy of Science
The story: having seen a call for a special issue of the french
journal TSI, I decided to make the effort and translate to french a
paper which, I think, is one of the most important things I've done in
science. After a lot of effort (my french is not so good) I manage to
produce the following paper:
O. Maler Du Contrôle Optimal et Sous-optimal en Présence d'adversaires 2005.
I was sure that I am doing a favor to this (otherwise anonymous)
journal and the mono-lingual public in general. To my surprise I've
received after some months a
rejection letter accompanied with three harsh referee reports.
I am not sure yet about the moral of the story...
